This camp is so fun. There is a lot of things you can do here like swimming canoeing, kayaking, archery, sleep outside, nature center, and much more. When you kayak you do it on a really big lake as well as canoeing. When you are swimming you swim in a lake. You have to pass two swim tests to swim in the deep end. I hope to see you here. – David

Camp Happy Hollow is very fun. There are many fun things to go and do while you are there. One of the coolest things we do is kayaking and the zaplining. It is very exciting and the food is very good. The swimming area is one of the coolest places there is. There is very many things to do here.
This is a really good camp!! It is really fun. You also get a good way from home! It has good activities and counselors! You have so many options to what you want to do. This camp is over 800 + acres!!! I love this camp. When I grow up I would like to work here!!
Happy Hollow is a great camp. My favorite activity is archery. I noticed that is I aimed to the lower left it would nearly always hit the target. I didn’t like riding horses but their horses are very well trained. Also I like all the lake activities like kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. And even though the zap is quick and high it is also safe. I’ve been coming for 5 years and I will keep coming.
Archery gives kids the experience to be like Native Americans and how they hunted their prey. Archery helps with strength and plus it is fun. = ). Kayaking is a fun activity. Basically its your own boat!!!
I think this camp is fun. I like horseback riding, kayaking and the food. I like everything about the camp.
In happy Hollow Camp there are lots of fun exciting activities such as canoeing, horseback riding, zap lining, and other things to. You get to do a bunch of stuff so you aren’t even thinking about from home. You get a lot of exercise and fresh air. The best thing of all is how while you’re doing fun things you can see animals in nature.
I think this camp is fun. I like all the activities that are planned for us. My favorite thing was swimming and Zapline because these are the things we have never done before. It is different I think is great experience.
I do like the activities here. I haven’t done all of them yet but I look forward to it. It is a fun place, my favorite thing is horseback ridding. I look forward to coming back.
What I liked about camp is the zap line the instructor was very cool and laid back. The zap line was very enjoyable. The Kayaking was also very fun.

Hear at Camp Happy Hollow I like to kayak, Zap line, horseback riding and swimming. They are the best activities in the whole camp. We get to campout under the stars.
My favorite activities were the zap line and horseback riding. When you go down the zapline the wind is in your face and it is so fun. It’s really fun to do horseback riding.
We made smores. We shoot bows and arrows and I shot two in the middle. We went swimming in the lake.
Mom and Dad we all did a lot of things this week. We went to the pool and to see the horses at the barn and it was so fun to. And we went to see the bunnies and it was at the barn to. And we went to arts and crafts.
Mom I miss you but let me tell you some of the activities that I did. I did play in the mud. T Tie Dyed my t-shirt. I made smores. I went to the barn and I petted the goat and the cat and I rode the horses.

This past week at Happy Hollow camp we played lots of things. We swam, canoed, rode horses, did archery, and played in the athletic field. I really enjoyed archery. Our counselors are really nice and they let us play with the bunnies. I really hope I can come back next summer. I made new friends and they are very nice.
Yesterday we went canoeing and swimming. We have to walk everywhere. That hurts my legs. Today we got to ride a horse, her name was Prissy! We also got to hold bunnies, feed a goat, and pet a cat! Camp is so fun, out of all the camps in the US I recommend Happy Hollow!!!! I love camp!!
Yesterday we went swimming that was the best thing I loved. Then we went to bows and arrows and we went to the athletic field. And today we went to ride horses and I like breakfast was delicious and lunch was to. We are about to go to dinner.

Happy Hollow Children’s Camp is really fun and the horses are really fun. Their pizza is awesome.
I like camp and everything about it and almost every kid in our cabin loved this camp. So you should try it to.

A special guest at camp.
The Staff and especially the campers of Happy Hollow would like to thank Roy Hibert of the Indiana Pacers for coming to Camp this afternoon. The campers had a wonderful time showing him the nature center, the Zap line and playing a little basketball with Roy. The campers love the autographed pictures and will cherish these memories for years to come.

Thoughts from around the camp fire.
My day was good except for my eyes hurting whenever they moved around, but all in all it was pretty good. I actually kind of enjoyed swimming in the lake & the creek walk was fun. I learned that crayfish can back up really fast so you have to put one hand behind it to catch it.
Today was fun. I liked and hiking. Today was relaxing.
Today I had a lot of fun. I even felt like I lost a couple of pounds. I liked everything we did today!
Today was super fun easy but fun. We went swimming and I ALMOST passed my swim test Ha Ha. I had one lap left but I got tired. Well that was the highlight of my day.
Today I experienced a lot of fun things. Like… when we went swimming in the dirty. And then I liked when we did a creek hike and Arts and Crafts. !!GOODNITE!!
Today was okay, I experienced a lot of things like at the nature center! And also things that I didn’t know I got a lot of exercise.
Today was a fun day and we swam. The food was good. I loved the creek hiking and I found a big fairy stone.

Today we went swimming and canoeing and the challenge course. We went to visit the rabbits. The group went to the store and I got a Dr. Pepper and chips, like that thing. And we got to eat a snack.

I like this camp and I want to come back. There is a lot of stuff to do like swimming, creek hike’s, and horse back riding. There are a lot of games to play and the food is good too. My counselors Chaun and Derek are cool. The cabins are nice and clean and the shower houses are nice too. My favorite part is playing in the athletic field to help me lose my energy.

Thought from the camp fire
Dear everyone toady was basically the second day of camp because we were doing a lot of activities. Sunday we really didn't do anything but get settled in. Camp is awesome. My Mom said she is going to send me and my sister year until we are 14. Why because she said it give us something to do.
What I like about at camp:
1. We get to go horseback riding
2. We also get to go canoeing
3. We got to shot bow and Arrows
4. That we have good bathrooms and showers
5. That we have comfortable beds
6. We have our own space to put our space
7. And I know what Posen Ivy looks like
8. And that we go to bed at 9:30
9. And we have good food
10. And that we have nice Counselors
My Favorite activities so far are bow & arrow, horses, the song, and our cabin. Also I like meeting new firend. I really like our counselors Julie, Monica and Kara. Also I like getting away from our house and being outside.
Things I like at Happy Hollow Camp are breakfast, lunch dinner, bow and arrows and the snack. I had fun finding the fairy stones in the creek. The best is kayaking.
I love the lake and the hot tub spring. I love to go horseback riding and fishing and the little play and walking in the woods.

CAMPERS ARRIVE!!
There were many smiling faces and cheers once the buses arrived safely at Happy Hollow this afternoon. Right now the campers are finishing up dinner which featured grilled chicken and scalloped potatoes. Following dinner we will be having our opening campfire where the counselors will be leading songs and skits. Tomorrow we will be starting are busy week of fun filled activities. Thoughts from the campfire circle
I really liked swimming canoeing. And I really like horseback riding. I like the creek walikg and finding the fairy stones. I like the barn. Happy Hollow is the best.
I like fishing swimming, creek hiking, arts and crafts. I also like being a hopper and I really like the camp store. Today I got a drum stick and a coke.
It has been amazing this week. This is the first time I have been here. I plan on coming back next summer. I liked the swimming and the challenge course, the cabin and all the hiking. I have learned a lot so far. I can’t wait for tomorrow.
I had fun today canoeing and kayaking. I also had fun swimming. So far I got an awesome tan. I also like the high ropes course and especially the zap line. I was scared at first but then got the courage to do it. I was AWESOME.
This whole week has been fun and I have not been bored once. The food is also amazing it feels just like home. My favorites activities so far have been swimming, horseback riding, and the bunnies at the farm and garden. I can’t wait to go to the high ropes course tomorrow.

So far my favorite activity has been the farm and garden. I liked farming the best because I was able to hold the baby bunnies, they were really pretty. I am stay in a cabin with six other girls. I can’t wait to go horseback riding and kayaking tomorrow.

Thoughts from the Campfire
I’m 12 years old so far I liked was farming and Arts & Crafts. It is my first year and all of this is new to me. I made some new friends. I also have learned some different ways to do stuff. The food is tasty and the counselors are cool. I hope this never ends because this camp is cool.
I am having a lot of fun here my favorite thing is kayaking. It is amazing.
I am 9 years old. My favorite activity so far is horseback riding and also the rabbits. This is my first year at camp and I am having so much fun.
I am having a lot of fun so far. My favorite activity is piggy back riding on a horse. Also I got to learn to build a fire and roast marshmallows.
I like swimming in the lake. I like the frogs and the fish. I really like the food because it is so good. I am having so much fun.
So far the camp has been a lot of fun. Canoeing and kayaking are really fun. The food is really yummy. The cabins are clean and there it still a lot more stuff to do.
I love Happy Hollow because we learned about nature everywhere. Today we went swimming and horseback riding fishing and archery. I really like swimming and archery. I also really like walking up and down all the trails.
Today my favorite activities are working with the horses and other animals, canoeing, and archery. I am looking forward to kayaking, mountain biking, and other activities that we haven’t done yet. I also love swimming in Lily Lake. I also love my cabin. I am staying in Apache 2 this week.
I really like the swimming and the arts and crafts. Happy Hollow Children’s Camp is my favorite camp I have attended ever. I also like the counselors and how they are so fun.
I really enjoyed the horses and playing with the bunnies at the barn. I loved arts and crafts because I got to make a bracelet for my mom. I also made other things to. When I went on the creek hike I found a fairy stone. I heard that fairies make the holes in the stone and if you find one you can make a wish.
My favorite thing to do is swimming and horses back riding. I also really like doing the bows and arrows. I have made a lot of new friends and I have learned a lot of new songs. I can’t wait to go kayaking and go creek hiking.

I loved the high ropes and the zip line. Also I really liked swimming in the lake today. The trails were really tiring today. But mostly it was really fun.

I am having a lot of fun here my favorite thing is kayaking. It is amazing.
I am 9 years old. My favorite activity so far is horseback riding and also the rabbits. This is my first year at camp and I am having so much fun.

Thoughts from the picnic table
The staff here is very nice. There is really good food here too. I hope I can come back here next summer. As I said this camp is very cool and fun for kids that like camping. I know I do.
I had a fun time today. I went on a creek hike then I went swimming in a lake. I loved arts and crafts because I got to make a bracelet for my mom. I also made other things to. When I wen on the creek hike I found a fairy stone. I heard that fairies make the holes in the stone and if you find one you can make a wish. I went to the athletic field to, I like playing with my new friends.
We played volleyball, jumped rope and we hula hooped.
We went on a creek hike it was hot and we went swimming to. We went to the nature center and it was very very hot but it was fun. It will be hot tomorrow too we will have fun and I loved the creek hike because we got wet.
Today we woke up really early we had to hop up and get our stuff. Then we went to the flag pole to let up the flags. We sang lots of cool songs. Then we ate breakfast it was okay we had eggs, tortillas with Mexican sauces, and cheese we drank grape juice. Then we went to the nature center. Then we went to arts & crafts. Then we went to lunch. Then we to the creek and we found fairy stones. Then we ate dinner it was goooood.

Camper's insight into camp
Here At Happy Hollow we have had a great last couple of days. Here are some thoughts from the campers about what they thing of camp.
We went to archery and everyone hit the target even Monica. It was super. We have only been here for 2 days and everything has been awesome so far. I was even the hopper, it was so fun. I have a lot of friends too.
I am having fun. I love camp. I made a target and I cannot wait to go swimming.
Today when we got up we cleaned. Then we got dressed and went to breakfast. Then we did archery. I shot 5 arrows. It was very fun.
Camp is a great place. Yesterday we sang sons and there was a little play/ But then today we ate breakfast and then did arrows and bows.
I am at camp. It is called Happy Hollow. It was almost time for dinner but first we had to get ready so we went the cabin to get ready. We have to do the Pledge of Allegiance before we eat. After dinner we went back to the cabins. We had a little play time and then we went to opening campfire. Then we went and got ready for bed. We got ready and went to sleep. Good night.
Today when we got to camp we met with our counselors and then the counselors showed us around. Then we went to dinner. PS the dinner was great.
Today I went creek hiking and what I liked about it was that we all found fairy stones. I did not like all the hiking. We also went swimming but there were a lot of fish coming up to my toes. We also went to the athletic field. I really liked playing the games on the athletic field.
I went on a creek hike and found and I found a fairy stone but my friend found it for me. And then we went swimming and I liked it very much. And I liked the camp store. I also like the animas. But the best thing was swimming test. I past the swimming test it was easy and all my friends did it, all six of us. We all past the swimming test.
Today at camp I had a blast. First we went to the nature center and studied the animals and leaves. Then we took a creek hike and I found rocks with a hole in it which is a fairy stone. You can make only one wish per stone. It was very cool and fun. After that we went swimming in the. At first I was scared but when I got in it was warm and had nothing but sand. Some of the counselors taught us swimming lessons like bubbles, going under water, pulling a buddy with a floaty, and kicking lessons. Happy Hollow is a very fun Camp.

Alex and Josh are the best counselors that I have had. The food is awesome it is really great. I love horseback riding, swimming, tennis, fishing, archery, kayaking, and canoeing.
Today was great, and the food today was amazing. The fish guy would let us cast where we wanted to fish. Swimming was good because I went under the lake and got these little shells. I am getting a pretty good workout here and drinking a lot of fluids.
Camp is the best! Bow and arrows was ok. But I think the food was pretty good. The best thing that needs more time is rest time from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 min. Alex is a great counselor the best I have had. Josh is one of the crazy ones. Alex has a British accent thing. But most important you have fun with all the other campers. There is a lot of different things to do. I love doing camp with swimming, camping and a lot of other things. There are good counselors for kids (like us). And camp is also for kids with asthma.
The camp rocks. I like the food, the games, and all the campers are cool. I have lots of friends and we have lots of fun times. My counselors are cool and fun. Josh is cool with tricks and Alex is cool like he is active. The best thing is going to sleep. When we wake up I am so tired but the things we do are the coolest.
Happy Hollow is awesome the food is great. My counselors are awesome! Alex and Josh are fun and I play football against other cabins. We are 1 – 0. I have a cool necklace and it has a fairy stone on it. A fairy stone is a stone that has a hole all the way through it. It is awesome it would put you in awe.
The things I like about camp are awesome. There is really nothing I could say about me not liking Happy Hollow Camp. I liked the food, it was SO good. I liked the hiking, walking and running up and down the hills. I loved the archery. I was really cool. I also though the nature center was pretty cool too. I thought rest hour was pretty cool. I really actually did. I liked the snacks that we got after dinner. I think it is the best that we have showers here. It is the best that we have can swim and dive off the floating dock.
Camp at Happy Hollow is so fun. Archery was the best of all the activities. Josh and Alex are cool. I want to come back next year!

Campers thoughts
Yesterday we went to ride the horses at the big barn. And we went to the little barn to see the bunnies, goats, chickens and the pig.
My time at happy Hollow camp. I like being at camp because it’s fun but I miss my family. I like being at the barn because I got to see the goats and the pig and the bunnies. I also got to ride a
REAL horse. They had a cat at the barn and Alex picked up a hen by the legs and fell asleep and they have a roost. Today we went swimming and nature and we went kayaking too.
I love the cat and the bunny and the gaot. My friend was scared of the goat.
I love my teachers. Like when Mrs. Alex put the roaster to sleep that was the best part so was the bunny.

I went horseback riding then I went to the farm. We saw chickens and goats. I got to hold a baby bunny. Then we went swimming, then canoeing & we ate smores.

Life and Times at Happy Hollow
Hello my name is Shelby. Guess what I had lots of fun today. I went swimming, creek hike, played on the athletic field, farm and garden that is all. OH on our creek hike all of us found a fairy stone. I was the first one to find them. We went to the camp store and I got cheetos and a Pepsi. We made necklaces out of the fairy stones. It has been really fun so far. It is my first time here at Happy Hollow camp. I made a lot of new friends. So I am really gonna go I am about ready for bed and I am going to write a letter to my parents. Bye
I got to hold rabbits, pet a pig, goats, roosters, chickens and a cat. We went to do creek hiking. We found a lot of fairy stones, fishes, fairy houses and different rocks like a clay rock. We went swimming in the lake. When we were at the lake there was a small water snake. I was scared but the life guard scared it away. We made fairy stone necklaces with beads on it. We saw a lot of frogs and I was scared because those frogs were really hopping FAST.
My day was fun. We went creek hiking, farm & garden, Swimming, played on the athletic field. My favorite part was creek hiking because we found seven fairy stones. All of my cabin members got one each. We made necklaces. My second favorite was garden and farm because I got to see the animals. My 3rd favorite was swimming we got wet when we it was hot. 4th was the athletic field. It was my last because running and jogging on a hot day got me sweaty. That was my dad.

If you don’t it will think you will drop it, and it will hurt you or itself. The next thing is the creek walk. We found 9 fairy stones. Thoughts from the first day of camp
Well we have made it through our first full day of camp this week
When I got on the mountain bikes I thought I’d fall off every time but it was fun. When we went to arts & crafts I made a bracelet I never made before. The creek hike was my second favorite. I found two fairy stones and a heart rock. Swimming was fun. I was the only person in my cabin to pass the swim test. Farm and garden was the best!! I held a couple of baby rabbits and chased the goats. We feed the animals also. We visited all the animals. We had so much fun with all the animals.
I have enjoyed kayaking liked jumping out of it and getting back in. I liked seeing the bunnies. And just doing everything.
I enjoyed the farm and garden center because the bunny rabbits are so cute.
What I loved about Happy Hollow is that we have gone swimming, camped out fishing arts & crafts and more. But I have loved the staff too. Plus I’ve made new friends. It is so Fun.
I really enjoyed kayaking! It is so much fun. Also I enjoyed arts and crafts. Overall I think it is pretty good.
Kayaking was great. Alex was a good teacher. I wanted to go again but I couldn’t. We were going swimming next.
I liked the horses. I rode Katie. I also liked hopping the table. I am looking forward to the special day this week.

Kayaking was my favorite activity. I was really good at it. I also enjoyed chasing the goats at the farm and garden. I can’t wait for the special day this week so I can jump in the water like I did last year with Raymond
I really like the horses. We got to trot and to and got to groom them. Swimming was good as well. I passed both swim tests. The cabin was ok.
I liked nature we learned about frogs. Kayaking was good I had a lot of fun. I got really fit from hiking everywhere and I really want to stay.

I really enjoyed kayaking! It is so much fun. Also I enjoyed arts and crafts. Overall I think it is pretty good.
Kayaking was great. Alex was a good teacher. I wanted to go again but I couldn’t. We were going swimming next.
I liked the horses. I rode Katie. I also liked hopping the table. I am looking forward to the special day this week.
I really really liked swimming and kayaking. I also liked playing in the cabin with my new friends. But I didn’t like being quiet for rest period.

I really like the horses. We got to trot and to and got to groom them. Swimming was good as well. I passed both swim tests. The cabin was ok.
I liked nature we learned about frogs. Kayaking was good I had a lot of fun. I got really fit from hiking everywhere and I really want to stay.
